Radical Newsletter - 1st Issue
Welcome to the first edition of the RADICAL Youth Congress Bulletin. We hope to provide you with
the latest update on the preparation leading up to the TPU Youth Congress 2017. We thank you
for making a decision to join us at TPUM’s Youth Congress. This Congress happens once in every
8 years.

Guest Speakers


Professor of Homiletics, Theological Seminary, Andrews University, USA

Dr. Hyveth Williams served for thirteen-and-a-half years as senior pastor of Campus Hill Church in Loma Linda, California. She is the first black female pastor and the first female senior pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. Prior to her appointment as professor in 2009, she also served as an adjunct professor of 
religion on the Loma Linda University Faculty of Religion and Andrews University Theological Seminary. A graduate of Columbia Union College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology (1984), Pastor Williams received her Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University Theological Seminary (1989). In 1998 she graduated from Boston University School of Theology with a Doctor of Ministry degree. 
Dr. Williams holds the distinction of being the first non-Episcopalian to receive the prestigious Fellowship from the Episcopal College of Preachers, National Cathedral, Washington, D.C.


Senior Regional Pastor for the NNZ SDA Conference

Paul Siope is a Kiwi born Samoan. In his early teens he grew up in the streets of Auckland, married at 17 and had a conversation experience to Christ, and was called to gospel ministry at 23. He has 5 adult children, 7 grandchildren; he has planted churches in 
New Zealand; California; and mentored other church planters in
Sydney and Bribane. He is the Senior Regional Pastor for the NNZ SDA Conference; a local church pastor of Ponosonby and Calvary 
Community, and the chairperson of Grace Foundation Charitable Trust; he holds 5 degrees; and loves making radical disciples after the kingdom of Jesus Christ.
